33 shot dead in Ethiopia Ant government protests

About 33 people  were shot dead by the security forces in protests across

 Ethiopia two regions

 Amhara and Oromiya. 

The deputy chairman of 

Opposition Oromo Federalist Congress

 said they up to now compiled at least

 33 protesters killed

 by armed security forces that

 included police and soldiers.

The Amnesty International Deputy Region Director for East Africa 

Michelle Kagari said

 "Ethiopia forces have systematically used extensive forces in 

mistaken attempts to silence 

dissenting voices"
