Burundi: 600,000 people are in short of food - WFP

World Food Organisation said about 600,000 people in Burundi are in short of food due to drought and flooding in the past year. The number expected to raise to 700,000 by next year.


Those affected mostly are in five provinces in the north and east of the central African country where around 65,000 people are reported to have fled their villages.
